1. Library Membership

To become a library member, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account use
• Be at least 13 years of age

2. Borrowing Rules

When borrowing books from NexusLib, you agree to:

• Return borrowed books by the due date
• Pay late fines of ₹5 per day for each overdue book
• Borrow a maximum of 5 books at any given time
• Not lend your borrowed books to others
• Take proper care of borrowed materials

3. Loan Period

The standard loan period for books is 14 days from the issue date. You may request a renewal if no other member has reserved the book.

4. Fines and Fees

• Late Return Fine: ₹5 per day per overdue book
• Lost or Damaged Book: Replacement cost + ₹50 processing fee
• Fines must be paid before checking out new books

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership for:

• Repeated late returns without payment of fines
• Misuse of library materials or facilities
• Providing false information
• Violation of these terms and conditions

6. Code of Conduct

Library members agree to:

• Respect other library users
• Use library resources responsibly
• Not engage in any illegal activities through the library system
• Not attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the library system

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

NexusLib Digital Library System is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

8. Limitation of Liability

NexusLib shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the library system.

9. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
